2015-05-19 - Aggiornamento dell'azienda NORBLAST S.R.L.

NORBLAST S.R.L.: Automatic system meeting NADCAP specifications to perform the shot-peening treatment of structural components for helicopters and airplanes. To meet production capacity and dimensional characteristics of the parts to be treated, a system was developed equipped with an anthropomorphic robot plus 2 additional axes (rotary table and vertical drive for shot peening the inside). All synchronised with a shifting system that makes it possible to automatically treat the longest parts. AVIATION THE ROLE OF PERFORMANCE Aviation is a continuous challenge. Component materials and processes must guarantee performance with maximum durability and absolute reliability under conditions that are often extreme. The systems are highly customised, often to the point of being unique. OUR ANSWER Machines and third-party processing ensuring high-quality shot-peening and cutting-edge finishing. Our machines meet the needs of multiple technological processes in this field. They are designed with top-notch technology to fully satisfy the specific requirements of the aviation industry, distinguished by parts with complex shapes, strict usage conditions, and continuous material evolution. Shot-peening machines are conceived to give each single part maximum durability, while those with technological finishing are designed to obtain surfaces with particular properties. Just to note a few, a precise, controlled surface roughness improves adhesion of galvanic coatings or improves the bonding strength of any material, from metals to composites. Our machines are fully compatible with and certified under NADCAP specifications and are compatible with the typical guidelines of industry certifications. Depending on the case, with Peen Service, our subsidiary specialised in shot-peening, we can offer outsourcing treatment on all components of this industry, both for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
